My One and Only

Seeking for so long and all I found was tears
finally found someone who has helped me overcome my fears,
funny how life makes you think love is fake
but when you find "The One" you know it is fate.

I had given up on love and stopped looking for a man
that's when the Lord decided to make me your biggest fan,
I can be your cheerleader, ride or die
I will be your anything as long as I'm by your side.

I never thought in a million years
I would be so blessed to have you my dear,
I wouldn't change a thing about you

Are you feeling torn down, beat up, and kicked around by the things of this world and the people in it? 

Well then I have some great news for you, there is someone GREATER than this world who will stand with you and carry you the whole way through!

This world may be tough and at times it may seem like things will never get better, but the Lord has a bigger plan for you! He is walking with you and He is helping you swing at every curve ball that is sent your way! 

The Lord will calm your storm, He will provide brighter days, just stand firm in your beliefs and always stand firm on Jesus Christ! He died for you, so you could be free of sin, so why not live for Him! <3

Frustration

Seeking for the truth but all you find is tears

does love exist or is it as you fear

You don't see it coming, it hits you like a train

your whole world is shaken and only you are to blame.

You thought everything was perfect but then you see the truth

when it comes down to it you are the one to get the boot,
when will things get better
or is this just like a feather?

Floating in the wind
never to be seen again!

Lead Me To The Cross! :D

My Prayer for today is that the Lord will help me stay on the right track and know that everything that is happening in my life has a purpose. Although right now I feel as if everything is falling apart I pray that the Lord helps me to always know I can trust in Him! :D Lord I know that you are my strength and I know that you do everything for a reason and it is very easy to say that I am handing everything over to you Lord but the actions are so hard. I pray that you will help me lay everything at your feet & help lead me to the cross! :D Thank you Lord for such a wonderful life and for such wonderful people in my life! I always know that no matter what happens in my life I can trust in the Lord with everything! :D

Thanksgiving

Definition on dictionary.com

1. the act of giving thanks;grateful acknowledgment of benefit or favors, especially to God. 

2. an expression of thanks, especially to God. 

3. a public celebration in acknowledgement of divine favor or kindness.

4.a day set apart for giving thanks to God.

This holiday season let's not forget what the holiday is all about. 

Sometimes we get so caught up in cooking, spending time with family, and rushing between family gatherings that we forget to give thanks to the Lord who has given us everything! 

This thanksgiving we need to take some time to Thank God for our wonderful family and friends. 

May all the Praise and Glory go to God for everything that happens in our lives and to Him we owe all the Thanks as well! :D

Although we only celebrate giving thanks one time a year shouldn't we always give thanks to the Lord for all He has done?

After all God did send Jesus to die on the Cross for our sins to be forgiven, that alone is a wonderful reason to give thanks daily! :D 

Every morning He wakes us up, every time we walk outside He protects us, the Lord is always there to lift us up when we are down so shouldn't we lift Him up all the time! 

O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. Psalms 107:1 

Smile! Jesus Gave His life for YOU! :D

Smile!

Some days are so hard to smile, 

sometimes we only want to cry. 

We will all face some sort of trial 

but this to shall pass us by. 

Just a simple smile can make for a better day,

Although it is tough 

we should try to smile anyway. 

We are not the ones who had it rough. 

Jesus gave His life for us to be free,

that's the best reason to smile if you ask me! :D 

A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.

Proverbs 15:13

Always remember your smile can brighten up a room! 

As Christians we should rejoice in the Lord always, we should look past those things of this world that have hurt us. 

God forgives us of our sins just as we should be quick to forgive others of their sins. 

With Christ, a cheerful heart, and forgiveness near by we should always have true Joy, therefore, we should always SMILE!!! :D 

Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Ephesians 4:31-32

Angry Much?!

Quick to anger, but slow to forgive

is this the way we were taught to live?

The bible speaks against it but to the world,

anger is nothing but a little tension swirled.

No matter what happens in our heart we should know

that the Lord has everything in complete control! 

When I get mad I always say, 

Christ loves me and proved it that day on calvary!

Do not let your anger get the best of you because anger can corrupt the way others may view you. as Christian we should turn from anger and be quick to forgive. Jesus Christ was on the cross and prayed 

Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. Luke 23:34

Christ came to this world to save us from our sin, anger is one of those sins that can sometimes get the best of us! Do not let you anger over come the person who you are, be a light unto this angry world and win others with LOVE!! :D 

Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: 

fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. Psalm 37:8
