LIFE

I now see there was a veil covering my eyes,

To the one who ripped it off thank you,

To the one who put it there you only made me stronger!

I thought you were a friend

But now I see the villain you have become.

You are a smart one catching me when I fell,

But truth be told only the Lord can help me up!

Who is a true friend, who can I trust?

I guess my thought of you is a huge bust!

The winds start to blow and your branches start to sway,

I guess once again you’re not as sturdy as you say.

When will we learn this life has nothing for us?

We are nothing but faces on a bus,

Do we truly know each other or

Do we even try to open the door?

Let’s stand up and let everyone see

The truth of our Savior that lives in you & me

Some people may hate everything in this life

But I set all I am on my rock, Jesus Christ!

I hope no one thinks this is about you

This is my life & my way of getting through.

I know I have the best of any friends

But I felt this was a way to tell some of life’s bends! :D
